Nestled Home Organizer
Where things belong.
How it works
Organization that remembers
-
Add your rooms
Start with the places you keep things: the garage, the basement, the hall closet.
-
Add boxes and their items
Create a box for each bin or organization unit in a room, then list what goes inside it.
-
Tag it, then tap it
Put an NFC tag (a small sticker your iPhone can read with a tap) on each box. Use the app to link it and add items. Tap it to see what’s inside.
Features
Everything in its place
-
Signature feature
NFC box scanning
Every tagged box is one tap away from its contents. No more opening five bins to find the extension cords.
Stick a tag on any box or bin, tap it with your iPhone, and see what’s inside.
-
See inside
Photos of what’s inside
Add a photo to each item, so you can see exactly what’s in a box without lifting the lid or unstacking the pile.
Handy for boxes of look-alike cables, holiday decorations or clothes sorted by size.
-
Rooms → Boxes → Items
Your home inventory mirrors your actual home, so you always know which room a box lives in and what it holds.
-
Search
Can’t remember where the camping lantern went? Search your whole inventory and track it down.
-
Sync across devices
Sign in to your Nestled account and your inventory stays in sync across your devices.
-
Household sharing
Share one inventory with your family, so everyone knows where things belong.
New to NFC? It’s a tiny sticker your iPhone reads with a tap, the same technology as Apple Pay. Learn more
Who it’s for
Made for the places things get lost
- Moving. Know what’s in every box before, during and after the move, and unpack what you need first.
- Garages. Tools, sports gear and spare parts, sorted into bins you can check with a tap.
- Basements. Where Nestled started, and where boxes tend to pile up.
- Attics. Keepsakes and hand-me-downs you rarely see but want to find quickly.
- Storage units. Look up what you stored across town without making the trip to check.
- Seasonal bins. Holiday decorations, winter coats and summer gear, ready when the season turns.
Our story
Nestled began as an inventory system I built for my own basement, running on a Raspberry Pi kiosk. It was too useful to leave downstairs, so I rebuilt it from the ground up as an iPhone app. Nestled is made by a solo developer who cares about where things belong.
